A little about myself -
My clients are individuals and couples who find themselves at a point in life where they feel "stuck," or saying, "I've tried everything and nothing is working." Regardless of one's age, the feeling of being stuck is a common and universal experience. Entering into therapy is not a way to necessarily "fix" things, but rather a time to discover new opportunities for change and growth. It is through those times that the feeling of being stuck can evolve into positive movement and renewed energy.
Working from and humanistic and present-centered approach, we will work collaboratively to make connections between your present concerns, prior experiences, and future goals. Investing the time to resolve past trauma and understand its impact on current circumstances heightens one’s self-awareness and therefore the ability to move forward. This development of insight encourages the growth of the whole individual.
I work with all who are interested in creating their best lives; however, I specialize in working in relationship-based therapy, whether that relationship is with another or with self. Attention to our personal connections and kinship can shed light on our behaviors and the way we navigate through the world.
