My Area of Expertise
I specialize in relationship issues, mood disorders, and Narcissistic Personality Disorder, but treat bipolar disorder, anxiety, anger management, life transitions, trauma, and grief and loss. My clients are adults (18 and older), and couples. I work with all who are interested in creating their best lives; however, I specialize in working in relationship-based therapy, whether that relationship is with another or with self. Attention to our personal connections and kinship can shed light on our behaviors and the way we navigate through the world.
Working from a humanistic and present-centered approach, we will work collaboratively to make connections between your present concerns, prior experiences, and future goals. Investing the time to resolve past trauma and understand its impact on current circumstances heightens one’s self-awareness and therefore the ability to move forward. This development of insight encourages the growth of the whole individual.
